How Public Relations Help to Convey a Message/Image | The Royal Wedding

As most of you know, Prince Harry married the now famous Meghan Markle about two weeks ago. It caught the attention of the majority of the world. An image went viral of Meghan Markle as a tourist, sitting outside of the royal castle smiling. People were inspired by it and found it to be amazing that she was able to score a prince, like yes sis. Public relations helped to convey an image to the public because everyone was plastering all media sources with wedding photos, videos, and tweets. It let people what was going on and kept them updated with the celebration.

History Of Journalism | Newspapers

I think newspapers are a thing of the past, although some people do use newspapers nowadays. Our society has adapted to more electronic news than paper. There are many news channels such as FOX or CBN that are very popular nowadays. Many people don't use newspapers anymore, however, in some small towns newspapers are still delivered every Sunday. I think newspaper chains are good for journalism because they give more stories and allow more people to know what's going on in the world.

Movie Talk

What movie could you enjoy seeing over and over again?

There are a lot of good movies I would love to watch over and over again, but the main one is the remake of 'IT' written by Stephen King. The movie is about a killer clown who kidnaps and eats children. He kidnaps one of the main characters, Bill's little brother Georgie. Bill is determined to find out what happened to his brother, so he and his three best friends, Stan, Eddie, and Richie. Along the way, they meet Beverly (aka Bev), Mike, and Ben. They all have odd things about them, such as Bill has a stutter, Eddie is asthmatic and his mother makes him take placebos, making him think he is sick (which he later finds out he isn't), Stan has OCD, Richie has family problems, Ben is overweight, Beverly is known as a slut, and Mike is an African American homeschooled kid who lives on his grandfathers farm, so he is bullied for being an 'outsider.'I like the remake much better because I feel as if the actors portrayed their characters better. There are a lot of main things that weren't included, but it is still my favorite movie. I loved the plot and the signs of friendship that were shown throughout the movie. I also loved the friendship the actors had outside the movie. This movie is my favorite and I would definitely watch it every day if I could.

Who or what is your favorite movie monster?

My favorite movie monster is probably Pennywise, aka the monster in the movie 'IT.' He takes the form of a killer clown, but you see him as what you fear the most. The seven main characters all see him as their greatest fears. Bill sees him as his younger brother, afraid that he will never find him. Eddie sees him as a leper because his mother has made him afraid of sickness. Stan sees him as the face of a creepy painting in his father's office that he doesn't like. Richie claims his biggest fear is clowns, but it really is being forgotten, so he sees Pennywise as his dead body. Beverly's biggest fear is getting her period, because her father is sexual towards her, and she fears he would see her as a true woman and rape her so he does certain things to make her see blood, for example, her father touched her hair so she cut it off and washed it down the sink. Later in the movie, she hears something whispering her name and as she goes to look down the sink, the hair erupts from the sink, covering her bathroom in blood. Ben's biggest fear is the history of Derry, Maine so he sees certain historical characters he has read about. When he was little, Mike and his parents worked in a factory that burned down while they were inside. His parents were locked in and melted because it was so hot. He sees Pennywise as the burned victims of the warehouse. If I were to see Pennywise, he would probably appear as bees because that's my biggest fear. I think his 'powers' or whatever you call them are interesting.

Favorite TV Show

So if I had to pick a favorite TV show it would probably be Stranger Things. I know that sounds really cliche since a lot of people's favorite show is Stranger Things, but I really like it. I started watching it after I saw the movie It. It was a really good movie, it's now my favorite, and one of the actors also stars in Stranger Things so that's a big factor. I like it because it is a lot like It, and I love adventure genres and such and that's mainly what this show is based on. I don't really have a favorite episode, but if I had to pick one it would probably be the last episode of season 2, The Gate. I loved how adventurous it was, and how everybody was trying to fix one thing in different ways that all managed to succeed in the end. I recommend this show to people who like sci-fi, adventure, and romance tv-shows.
